He was predeceased by: his parent Dr. Marion Elijah; his wife Margaret Cromwell Smith; his mother Maude Bovee (Loveless); and his siblings, Noreen Zebley and Rev. Leon Bovee.
He is survived by: his children, Terry Bovee (Janet), Wendy Bovee and Jeff Bovee (Tammy); his grandchildren, Courtney Wilson (Kyle), Lindsay Winters (Jordan), Alan Bovee and Joel Bovee; his great grandchildren, Claire, Cooper and Drew Wilson; and his sister Sue Morris. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Westwood Heights Free Methodist Church, in Wayne's memory.
