She was predeceased by: her parents, Hollis Dexter and Effie Dexter (Rivers); her husband Harold Toomey; and her grandson Adam L. Smith. She is survived by: her daughter Rebecca (Howard Smith) of Franklin, TN; and her grandsons, Howard L. Smith II (Howie) and Christian Nathaniel Smith (Nathan). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
