She was predeceased by: her husband Candelario Cuevas Jr. (Larry); her daughter-in-law Sandra Cuevas; her granddaughter Jessica Steede; her great grandchild Montrice Jackson Jr.; her parents, Eddie Lee Nelson and Lola Mae Nelson; her brothers, Bobbie Nelson, Kenneth Nelson and Grady Wayne Nelson; her parents-in-law, Candelario Cuevas Sr. and Theresa Cuevas; and her siblings-in-law, David Cuevas, Viviano Cuevas Jr., Eva Cuevas and Laura Russell.
She is survived by: her children, Anthony Cuevas (Dawn) of Flint, Vincent Cuevas of Clarksville, Tennessee, Monica Wallen (Mark) of Grand Blanc and Melissa Cuevas of Flint, Michigan; her grandchildren, Jeremy Steede of Lebanon, Ashley Cuevas of Bridgeport, Vanessa Cuevas of Davison, Mark Wallen II of Grand Blanc, Briana Wallen of Honolulu and Anastasia Cuevas of Flint, Michigan; her great grandchildren, Davon Cuevas and Xavier Wallen; her siblings, Marion Stellar of Burton, Joan Nelson of Vernal, Mert Perry of South Carolina and Phil Nelson of Flint, Michigan; her siblings-in-law, Joanne Diaz of Flint, Peggy Cuevas of Fenton, Charlotte Solomon (Michael) of Clio, Michigan and Joe Roach (Bonus) of Flint, Michigan; and her grandchildren, Anthony Beauchamp, Nicole Beauchamp, Jazmine Jackson, Jerrika McDougall and Earicia Gladney. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
