It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Lois (Shafer) McArthur of Burton, Michigan, who passed away on May 26, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold E. Shafer and Clara Shafer (Washburn); her husband Harry E. McArthur; her sons, Terry Lee McArthur and Richard McArthur; her children-in-law, Alan Burns and Linda McArthur; and her brothers, Max (Shirley), Bob, Bruce, Bud (Frances) and Sherman.
She is survived by: her children, Ken McArthur (Teri), Diane McArthur, Vickie McArthur and Marlene Fong (Rob); her friend Linda Scharrer; her grandchildren, Kevin McArthur (Amy), Sara McArthur, Kirk McArthur (Erin), Katie McArthur, Tammie Beggs (Rob), Chris Montney, Samantha Petty (Mick), Melissa Spencer (Scott), Richie McArthur (Shannon), Tony McArthur (Pam) and Nick Burns; her great grandchildren, Garrett, Ethan, Quaid, Ian, Lily, Aiden, Madeleine, Benjamin, Jessie, Joey, Landon, Keagon, Jordan, Aubrey, Miranda, Cayden, Justice, Dauson, Thomas, Matthew, Morgan, Logan of Haley, A. J., Isabella and Hayden; her great great grandchildren, Emma and Asher; and her siblings, Larry (Linda) and Darlene. She is also survived by nieces and nephews as well as other loving family members and friends.
