He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Hodson and Cena Hodson; his siblings, Gordon and Pearl; and his son-in-law John Patterson.
He is survived by: his wife Louise; and his children, Toni Patterson, Stephen Hodson (Diana) and Pamela Campbell (David). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
