It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Justin Lee McDermitt of Burton, Michigan, who passed away on January 24, 2025, at the age of 34, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandfather Ted McDermitt; and his uncle Jason Sedlacek. He is survived by: his parents, Jason McDermitt and Jennifer McDermitt (Sedlacek); his wife Morgan McDermitt; his daughter Josephine Lee McDermitt; his sister Jordann Jennings (Derrek); his grandparents, Donna McDermitt, Greg and Cindy Sedlacek; his aunt Dawn McDermitt; his niece Emersynn Jennings; his nephews, Caden Jennings and Sawyer Jennings; his parents-in-law, Gary and Jean Stephen; his brother-in-law Chad Stephen; and his close friends, Richie Burke and Martin Morales. He is also survived by other loving family members and good friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Allen Funeral Home (9136 Davison Rd, Davison, MI 48423). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family, in Justin's memory.
