He is survived by: his wife Jessica Root; his children, Aaron Root, Brandon Root (Allison), Allison Root, Kaydance Porter, Maygen Porter and Gracie Preston; his granddaughter Melody Root; his parents, William Root and Katherine Root; his siblings, Sarah Georgiou and Andrew Root; his siblings-in-law, Andrea Hammel, Karen Philbrick (Dave), Alishea Schuch (Rod) and Gregory Spence; his parents-in-law, Richard Hammel, Debra Hammel and Darold Spencer; his nieces and nephews, Alexis, Autumn, Danielle, Michael, George, Nicholas, Blake, William and Zoe; and his great-niece Anna Georgiou. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
