It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Joseph Gillard of Burton, Michigan, who passed away on December 26, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertram Gillard and Lorna Gillard (Ancel); his brother Paul; his nephew Joe; and his niece Nicole.
He is survived by: his wife Sandi Phillips-Gillard; his children, Nikki Carpenter (Chris), Angie Ponlamuangsri (Nick) and Jimmy Redmond; his grandsons, Josh, Joe and Frank; his siblings, Mark (Kathy), Tom (Peggy), Anne Marie, Ken (Kathie), Barb (Steve) and Patty; and his goddaughters, Melissa and Krystal.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Swartz Funeral Home (1225 W Hill Rd, Flint, MI 48507).
