He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Basner and Edith Maude Basner (Carnahan); his son John M. Basner; and his son-in-law Donald Heiser. He is survived by: his wife Betty M. Davis; his daughters, Claudia Heiser and Phyllis Jessen (Arnie); his grandchildren, Candy Tilley (Matthew), Eric Robbins (Cim) and Heath Basner (Tiffany); and his great grandchildren, Ashley, Joshua, Paige, Peyton of Christopher, JD and Phoebe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to American Cancer Society or Alzheimers Association.
