She was predeceased by: her parents, James Asher Riggs and Edith Pettengill Riggs; and her husband Auldin Nelson. She is survived by: her pet Kirby; her children, Lori Savage (Patrick) and Paul Gregory Nelson; her grandchildren, Nicole Wolfin (Jon), Andrea DeWitt (Sean), William Simpson, Stephen Simpson (Samantha) and Erin Savage; her great grandchildren, Samantha, Jaime, Allylyn, Carey, Andrew and Skye; and her brother Melvin Riggs (Shirley) of Wisconsin. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
