He is survived by: his former wife Sandra Schermerhorn; his wife Sandy; his children, Michael Gilbert (Anita), Joseph Gilbert (Anna) and LaBreeska Hudgins (Larry); and his siblings, Carolyn Szatkowski (Joe), Linda McCarn (Jim), Debbie Pattee, Judy Sidam (Rick), Joyce Powell (Bug), Patricia Deardorff (Yaught), Tammie Miller (Michael), Ruth Green (Terry), Randy Schermerhorn (Janet), Robert Schermerhorn (Paula) and John Barnett (Christina). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
