He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Burns and Beulah Burns (Fleming); and his siblings, Shirley Burns, Wayne Burns, Marguerite "Jean" Peterson and James Burns.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Burns; his children, Karen Bristle (Paul), Karla Hemric (Ricky) and Greg Burns (Andrea); his grandchildren, Andrew Bristle, Amanda Quimby (Eric), Erica Milligan (Bradley), Steven Hemric, John Hemric, Matthew Hemric, Allison Burns, Grady Burns and Ryan Burns; his great grandchildren, Deserae, Zell and Vincent; and his siblings, Alzina "JoAnn" Burd and Larry Burns. He is also survived by other loving family members and good friends.
