She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Jackson and Myra Jackson (Mavis); her husband James R. VanDerschaaf; and her granddaughter Sarah Ratliff. She is survived by: her children, Nelson Pearson (Dena) and Ranee Pearson (Tim); her grandchildren, Alicia Ratliff and Tony Pearson; and her great grandchildren, Clinton and Pierce. She is also survived by 3 siblings; many other loving family members and dear friends.
