He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward George and Dorothy Vivian Kennedy Bowen; his wife Patricia Scott; and his sister Lois Andrews. He is survived by: his brothers, Chris Bowen (Sharon) and Tom Hicks (Mary); his daughters, Lorie Newcomer (Pastor Jim) and Nancy Knight (Pastor Mike); his grandchildren, Janelle Upton (Leighton), Alicia Smiley (Andy), Mikayla Barsuhn (Josh), Ashlyn Buffaloe (Drew), Jared Newcomer (Anna), Eddie Bowen, Ethan Bowen, Hudson Knight, Evan Bowen and Ellie Bowen; and his great grandchildren, Bridger Barsuhn, Calvin Upton, Selah Smiley, Oakley Barsuhn and George Buffaloe. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
