She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Prine and Gladys Prine; and her siblings, Anita Stephens, Richard, Willard, Edward and Bernard Prine.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas McAvinchey; her children, Susan Kivisto (Juhani) and Charles McAvinchey (Helen); her grandchildren, Linda Frederick, Roosa Kivisto-Cubasch, Eeva Kivisto Jenkins, Silvia Maring, Shannon Rock and Philip McAvinchey; and her great grandchildren, Liam, Elias, Wells Frederick, Avery McAvinchey, Vivian Rock, Clara Cubasch and Sully Jenkins. She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org), The American Heart Association, or Sharon Richardson Hospice in Sheboygan Falls, WI, in Carolyn's memory.
