It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alkitt Gentry of Burton, Michigan, born in Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on December 12, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Gentry and Catherine Gentry (Grant); and his siblings, Roger Gentry and Donna Jordan. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hulverson; his children, Avery Gentry of South Carolina and Chad Orvis of Swartz Creek; his grandchildren, Shelby Gentry (Tae), Beau Gentry, Carson Orvis and Caden Orvis; his great grandchild Rylan; and his close friend Richard Smith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
