Roy Eugene Rogers Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Eugene Rogers of Burtchville, Michigan, who passed away on January 19, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy E. Rogers and Esther Geckle Schultz (Geckle); and his brother Robert Miller. He is survived by: his wife Ellen (Albers); his children, Rochelle Maynard (Dave), Jennifer Hauser (Josh), Jacqueline Kronlund (Mathias) and Roy E. Rogers III (Stacey); and his grandchildren, Anissa, Henry, Colton, Everett and Linnea. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace Memorial - Smith Chapel (1525 Hancock St, Port Huron, MI 48060). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Burtchville Township Cemetery (3906 Burtch Rd, Fort Gratiot Twp, MI 48059).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Dr. Roy E. Rogers Memorial Scholarship Fund.
