He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Hutchins and Signa Hutchins; his stepson Bradley Margret; and his siblings, Warren Hutchins, Bill Hutchins, Gene Hutchins, Don Hutchins, Bob Hutchins and Kenny Hutchins.

He is survived by: his stepson Brian Margret (Heather); his grandchildren, Cody Bedell, Amiah Torres (Anthony), Nia and Gavin Margret; his great grandchildren, Solanus Torres, Nyree Margret-McVety and Thea Torres; and his siblings, Ben Hutchins, Beverly Larkin, Wesley Hutchins and Sara Archer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
