With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty J Schuman of Burtchville, Michigan, who passed away on January 6, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John McIntyre and Ethel McIntyre; and her brother Howard McIntyre. She is survived by: her husband Robert A. Schuman; her children, John Schuman (Karen), James Schuman, LuAnn Schuman and Linda Butler (Matthew); her grandchildren, Matthew Schuman (Alison), Jeffrey Schuman, Josie Nays (Dillon), Elishah Butler, Deacon Butler and Lucy Butler; her great grandchildren, Robbie, Gabe and Lilly; her brother Sid McIntyre; and her nephew Dwight McIntyre (Karen).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lakeport Wesleyan Church (3871 Harris Rd, Lakeport, MI 48059).
