He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Killian and Mary Evelyn Schwarz (Coyle); his granddaughter Chantel M. Bird; his brother-in-law Michael J. Twiford; his nephew Joshua M. Schwarz; and his sister-in-law Jeanette M. Robishaw.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Zieroff (Holt) of Burt; his daughters, Sandra Bird (Christopher) of Clio and Kelly McCollum (Matthew) of Bridgeport; and his siblings, Charles Schwarz (Shirlee) of Nagunee, John Schwarz of Bay City, Rose Twiford of Hanford, CA and Mary Singer (Paul) of Saginaw. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
