She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack and Leota Emeott Sr. (Frost); and her sister Chris Schwartz. She is survived by: her husband Rick Smith; her sons, Nathan Smith (Amelia) and Bradly Smith; her grandsons, Henry Smith and Everett Smith; her siblings, Tammy Hawblitzel (Scott), Stacey Long (Jeffery), Michelle Bosley and Jack Emeott Jr. (Kristin); and her father-in-law Richard Smith (Elaine). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
