He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Marlene Freed; his parents, Charles Vernon Freed and Cora Alvina Freed; his brother Clinton Millard Freed (Betty Freed); and his siblings-in-law, Charles Dietrich, James Snow, Fred Stacy and Elaine Stacy.
He is survived by: his daughter Laura Burrer (Thomas) of Indian River, Michigan; his grandchildren, Kyle Burrer of Wyoming, Brittany Burrer and Curtis Burrus of Elmira, Michigan; and his sister-in-law Mary Dietrich. He is also survived by his 6 great grandchildren.
