He was predeceased by: his mother Carroll Ann Chase; his grandmother Sylvia Langow; and his sister Tina Eckler. He is survived by: his former wife Sheri Yoder; his children, William L. Eckler Jr. and Andrea Eckler of Shipshewana, IN; his grandchildren, Madison Elmore and Brentlee Elmore; and his brother Robert Eckler.
