He was predeceased by: his father Steven Scott; and his sisters, Ann Stidham and Gretcheina Lin Myers. He is survived by: his mother Georgia Dobberteen (Frye) of Burr Oak; his children, Hunter Dobberteen, Bronson and Emily Brinkhoff (Zachery) of South Bend, Indiana; his grandchildren, Owen, Ella and Adaline; and his brother Melvin "Buddy" Dobberteen (Tiara) of San Antonio. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
