He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Troyer and Orpha Troyer (Miller); his wife Esther Carpenter; and his siblings, Wilbur, Clarence Troyer and Shirley Neff.
He is survived by: his children, Leon Troyer (Rebecca) of Three Rivers, Lennis Troyer (Nancy) of Burr Oak, Brian Troyer (Teresa) of Coldwater and Valerie Yoder (Lavon) of Mendon; his grandchildren, Karen Serna (Iman), Keith Troyer (Resa), Gayle Forrester (Mark), Nicholas Troyer (Kathryn) and Courtney Troyer; and his sister Mary Louise Neff of Shipshewana, Ind.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
