With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lucian O. Tisdel Jr. of Burr Oak, Michigan, born in Centreville, Michigan, who passed away on August 24, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucian O. Tisdel and Margaret A. Tisdel (Pridgeon); and his sisters, Patricia Ann Tisdel and Margaret Henry. He is survived by: his wife Myrtle June Rivers; his children, Elizabeth A. Nicka (Richard) of Albion, MI, John L. "JT" Tisdel of Elkhart, IN and Laura J. Phillips (Dale) of Sturgis, MI; his grandchildren, Joshua Phillips of Edward Baker, II, Nicole Linn (Brandon), Adam Baker (Lily), Bryan Baker (Grace) and Kristina Creech (Steven); his stepgrandchildren, Eric Milliman (Kelly), John Nicka (Emily), Taylor Boepple, Ryan Hampton, Sylvia Hampton, Heather Oti and Lacy Brux (Greg); and his siblings, Velma Stevens, Chester Tisdel and Darwin Tisdel. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions there are only 10 people allowed in the funeral home at any one time and all visitors and family are required to wear a mask.
