Loran Kane Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Loran Kane of Burr Oak, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 3, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Loran Kane to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Kane and Stella Kane (Sites); his wife Betty M. Wood; his sons, Jeffrey Palmer and Timothy Kane; and his brother Morris Kane (LaMar Kane).
He is survived by: his children, James Palmer (Nancy) of Three Rivers, Cherrie Shaw (Steven) of Burr Oak and Michael Kane (David Switalski) of Coldwater; and his sister Marilyn Rubley of Burr Oak. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Burr Oak United Methodist Church (206 Main St, Burr Oak, MI 49030). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations would be appreciated to the Burr Oak Community Schools Athletic Department, 325 Eagle St., Burr Oak, MI 49030. Keep Loran "Mike" Kane's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
