With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kenneth E. Purlee of Burr Oak, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 12, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Purlee and Margaret Purlee; his brothers, William Purlee and James Purlee; and his sister-in-law Darlene Purlee.
He is survived by: his wife JoAnne Purlee; his children, Ann Darrington (Thomas) and Gregory Purlee (Tonya); his grandchildren, Valli Mallen (BJ), Jeffrey Wright (Melody), Thomas Darrington (Rosa), Aaron Purlee, Jenna Fulton (Jacob), Robin Beal (Tom), Tracy Purlee, Corey Block (Megan), Tyler Block (Kerri Doutlick) and Marshall Block; his brother George Purlee (Bonnie); and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Culp (Karen) and Patricia Anderson (Bert). He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren.
