It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce L. Shinn (Burr Oak, Michigan), born in Mishawaka, Indiana, who passed away on October 26, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack McCaffery and Viola McCaffery (Mazuer); her stepfather Charles Cole; her daughter Julia Mingus; and her sister Rosemary McCaffery.
She is survived by: her husband Billy O. Shinn; her children, Patrick Shinn (Carleen) of Ludington, Lisa Engel (Larry) of Traverse City and Amy Sayers (David) of Sturgis; her grandchildren, Justin Mingus, Blakley Sullivan, Corey Shinn (Ashley), McLaine Mast (Andrew), Shelby, Mallory Shinn and William Shinn; her great grandchildren, Reilly Sullivan, Maddilyn Sullivan, Cayson Alexander Shinn, Tyler Shinn and Rosie Mast; and her friends, Ferman and Marlene Herschberger.
