She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Machan and Mary Machan (Vaughn); her husband Raymond Lewis Modert; her brother Don Machan; her nephew Denny Machan; and her pet Duffy.
She is survived by: her sons, James Modert (Robin) of Burr Oak, Scott Modert of Burr Oak and Daniel Modert (Kathy) of Port St; her grandchildren, Adam Modert (Lindsey), Crystal Sahli West (Mitch), Myla Wine (Erik), Travis Modert (Kristina) and Kelli Harker (Wayne); and her sisters, Alana Clark (Roy) of Sturgis and Marilyn Macaluso (Joe) of New Mexico. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
