He was predeceased by: his parent Thomas Eugene; and his brother Michael Eugene Waltke. He is survived by: his mother Helen Waltke (Wondergem) of Sturgis; his wife Penny Miller; his children, Erin Sherman (Kyle) of Howe, Indiana and Ryan; his grandchildren, Brynleigh, Easton and Kennedy Sherman; and his siblings, Beth Forbes of Sturgis, Valarie Smith (Mark) of Sturgis and Thomas Waltke, Jr. of Leonidas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
