He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald James and Beatrice Ross (Oswald); and his children, Angela Ross, Daniel Ross and Andrew Ross.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his sons, Gerald Ross, III (Kimberly) of Dayton, Ohio, Gregory Ross (Carista) of St. Louis and Anthony Ross of Burr Oak; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Ross-Jones (Matthew) of Alliance, Ohio, Alexander Ross of Akron, Ohio, Caliesha Ross of St. Louis, Nathaniel Ross of Alliance, Ohio and Rebekah Ross (Dolly) of St. Louis; and his siblings, Kathy Johnson (Jim) of St. Louis, Laura Lee Harrier (Bruce) of Riverdale, Bob Ross (Caroline) of St. Louis, Tom Ross (Vickie) of St. Louis and Tracy Ross (Carla) of St. Louis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
