It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Duane Patterson of Burr Oak, Michigan, born in Battle Creek, Michigan, who passed away on February 1, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Patterson of Washington and Helena C. Patterson (Stallman). He is survived by: his wife Margaret Hawkins; his children, Vicki Patterson (David Michaels) of Maryville, Tennessee, Donald R. Patterson (Rolanda) of Evening Shade and Mike Patterson (Cathy) of Sturgis; his grandchildren, Nicholas Patterson (Ashley), Benjamin Rhodes (Elizabeth), Cassandra Oglesbee (Mac), Cory Patterson (Angie), Angela Marie Stevens (Gregg) and Pamela Rae Miller (Eric); his siblings, Nannette Alpha, John Patterson (Bette) and Gerald Patterson (Nora); and his sister-in-law Barbara Patterson. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
