He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Christopher H. T. and Rachel J. Boland (Ekre); and his sister Ruth Mary Mulally. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Schirding; his children, Emilie Bright (Pat) of Sturgis, Rachel Boland of Sturgis and Matthew Boland (Victoria) of Sturgis; his grandchildren, Christopher Boland (Jessica) of Mendon, Emma Boland of Allendale and Ella Bright; his great grandchildren, Liam and Blake Boland; his stepgrandchildren, Annalissa Stevens (Oakley), Ailaina Cholometes, Justin Cooper, Ethan Bright (Chelsie) and Lucas Bright (Maranda); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Haven, Beckham Stevens, Tiernan, Royce and Bodee Bright; his brothers, Stephen Boland (Carol) of Sturgis and John Boland (Patricia) of Elmhurst, Illinois; and his brother-in-law James Mulally. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
