With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mark James Funk of Burnips, Michigan, who passed away on July 10, 2021 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father James Leo Funk. He is survived by: his wife Shelley Funk; his daughter Alicia Juarez-Cano (Cesar); his mother Lavonne Funk; and his grandchildren, Ariana, Elias, Isaac and Charlotte.

In honor of Mark, and in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Defenders of Wildlife.
