It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merlene Sue Watkins of Burlington, Michigan, born in Marshall, Michigan, who passed away on January 19, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle Struwin and Lejeune Struwin (Palmiter); her husband Robert; her daughter Robin Hills; her son-in-law Rodney Hodge; and her grandson Brandon Hills.
She is survived by: her daughters, April Proudfoot (Greg) of Midland and Dawn Hodge of Bronson; her pet Jake; her brother William "Bill" Struwin (Kathy); and her son-in-law Dean Hills. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren; her eight great grandchildren; and her two great, great grandchildren.
