She was predeceased by: her former husband Sanford Waltz. She is survived by: her parents, Harold Wiescholek and Ruby Wiescholek (Thurston); her husband Perry Yoder; her sons, William Waltz of California and John Waltz (Christine) of Merrill; her stepchildren, Teresa, Brenda, Sanford, Jr. and Robert; and her brothers, Gary Wiescholek (Rhonda) of Union City, William "Bill" Wiescholek (Mariane) of Burlington, Robert "Bob" Wiescholek (Cheryl) of Kalamazoo and Mark Ward of Union City. She is also survived by her parents, along with many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations are suggested to the family, in care of Shelly's son, John Waltz.
