It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Watkins (Burlington, Michigan), who passed away on March 5, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Joseph Shepherd; her granddaughter Cassandra Hall; and her sister Bonnie Shepherd. She is survived by: her mother Mary Jane Shepherd (Reffit); her husband James Watkins; her children, Angela Gebbink of Burlington, Bonnie Friday of Concord, James Ratliff (Regina) of Homer, Sandra Keyes Hall of Homer, Irene Hinkle of Osceola, Debra Shaffer of Homer, Jerry Watkins (Katodra) of Sheldon and Perry Watkins (Twila) of St. Joseph, Missouri; her siblings, Coleen March (James), Sonia Faye Woodman, Freddie Shepherd (Mariette), Teresa Vest (Earl) and Earl Shepherd (Cathy); and her friend March. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Friends who wish may make memorial contributions to Riverside Baptist Church or Southern Care Hospice.
