With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Duane Allen Risner of Burlington, Michigan, born in Coldwater, Michigan, who passed away on February 5, 2024 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Risner and Betty Risner (Herman); his brothers, Daniel "Boone" Risner and Doug Risner; his stepdaughter Chelsie Ash; and his brother-in-law Loyd Smith.
He is survived by: his daughter Marion "Katie" Lafler of St. Joseph, MO; his stepson Cody Ash (Ashley) of Tekonsha; his grandchildren, Omar, Kiarah, Greyson, Aaron, Hannah and River Ash; his siblings, Diana Albright (Stan) of Coldwater, Linda "Peanut" Smith of Burlington, Brenda Thoms of Union City and Duke Risner (Kristie) of Union City; his former wife Ann Karns; and his close friend Pat Fahndrich. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
