With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Schichtel of Buckley, Michigan, born in Richmond, Michigan, who passed away on January 22, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Adolf and Ernestine Louise Kaatz (Woehlert); and her daughter Mary Jane Caster (Richard). She is survived by: her husband Harlan Meeker of Romeo; and her children, Rosamond Ostendorf (David), Dona Jester (Paul), Elizabeth Clous (Gary), Howard Meeker (Sally), Doree Cook (Joe Grabowski) and Steven Meeker (Lori Lopez). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
