We are sad to announce that on May 27, 2023, at the age of 93, Anna Mae Smith of Buckley, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Schichtel and Mabel Schichtel (Miesch); her husband Floyd Max Smith; her grandson Christopher Hansen; her stepgrandson Danny Todd Schopieray; her son-in-law Daniel J. Schopieray; and her siblings, Lucille Schichtel, Bud Schichtel, Kathy Yuresko, Margaret Allen and Alice Zakrajsek.
She is survived by: her children, Vincent Smith of Buckley, Raymond Smith (Sandra) of Traverse City, Dinell Cooper of Kingsley, Bernie Cole (Steve) of Traverse City, Mabel Schopieray of Buckley, Mary Hansen (Mickey) of Buckley, Floyd Smith (Adrienne) of Buckley and Judy Smith of Buckley; and her siblings, Linda Crain (Gary) of Traverse City, Jerry Schichtel (Vivian) of Traverse City, Dave Schichtel of Traverse City and Norman Schichtel (Pat) of Buckley. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.
