He was predeceased by: his parents, William Merle and Jeanette McKindley (Crans); his children, Gerald Patton and Sharon Patton; and his sisters, Carol and Helen.
He is survived by: his wife Clara Darlene Lear; his children, Thomas Lane, Gail Langfeld (Roger), Juli Ziembowicz, Cathy Hamilton and Beverly Melton; and his sister-in-law Barbara Lamb. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great- grandchildren and one great-great- grandchild.
