He is survived by: his children, Heather Courtney (Joshua) and Brandon Checkley (Michele); his siblings, Diane Lewandowski, Nancy Ruminer, Sally Beckwith, Loretta Freshour and Gary Checkley; and his grandchildren, Payton, Isabell, Grayson, Lucas, Oaklyn and Emma.
