He was predeceased by: his parents, Stuart Sr. Rose and Delores Rose (Hoffius); and his siblings, Scott Rose and Robin Clark (Poppy). He is survived by: his wife Dianne Rose; his children, DeAnn Rose (Jon Saxton) of Cassopolis, Mitzi Jones (Timothy) of Berrien Springs and Robert Horsley (Stacey) of Sacramento, CA; his grandchildren, Ashlee Jones, Jake Jones, Garrett Jones (Diamond Tyson) and Suzanna Horsley; and his siblings, Chris Rose, Edith Sweeney (Pat) and Pam Bush. He is also survived by many other great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Buchanan American Legion, Post 51, or the Berrien Springs American Legion, Post 85.
