He is survived by: his wife Dell Jackson of Buchanan; his children, Lisa Ott (Andrew) of Galien, Misty Ledgerwood (Johnathon) of Valparaiso, Indiana, Ronald Richardson, Jr. (Kimberly) of Bristol and Tyrone Jackson (Connie) of Sawyer; and his siblings, Sandra Szlanfucht of South Bend, Indiana and Larry Jackson of Galien. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family prefers contributions be made in memory of Rex to St. Jude Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee, 38105.
