She was predeceased by: her parents, Ward Samson and Margaret Samson (Brewer). She is survived by: her sisters, Barbara Nelson (Dan) of Gadsden, AL, Sally Wallace (John) of Niles and Judy Shealy (Don) of Dothan, AL.; her daughters, Cheryl DeJong (Nick) of Jenison, MI and Laura Haluda (John) of North Liberty, IN; her granddaughters, Stephanie, Katie and Allison; her niece Donna Dodge (Tracy) of Niles; and her nephews, John Wallace (Jeannette) of Idaho and Ben Nelson of Alabama. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
