With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lynn Melton (Buchanan, Michigan), born in Niles, Michigan, who passed away on September 17, 2019 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Linda Weaver; his grandparents, Carl and Beverly Weaver; his uncle Carl Weaver, Jr; his siblings, Jimmy Scoggin, Jan Scoggin and Judy Scoggin; and his grandson Damion.

He is survived by: his grandchild Eagles; his pet Hoss; his wife Cindy Melton; his children, Larry Melton (Wendy) and Kaitlyn Penley (Corbin); his stepsons, Timothy Lawrence (Malisha) and Ryan Lawrence (Jessica); his grandchildren, Scarlett, Matthew, Joshua, Alex, Mason, Seth, Brenan, Nevaeh, Bentley and Karter; his aunt Joan Weaver; his sisters, Lawana Huff and Angelia Davis; and his father James Scoggin. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
