He was predeceased by: his parent Shirley Covey (Villwork). He is survived by: his wife Judith; his sons, Spencer Covey and Derek Covey (Aya); his grandchildren, Jacob Covey, Wrenley Wilde and Forest Wilde; and his brother Bruce Covey (Linda). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
