With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph J. Saratore of Buchanan, Michigan, born in Niles, Michigan, who passed away on September 5, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dominick Saratore and Virginia Saratore (Decker). He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Carrie Slivka (Adam) of Pittsburgh, PA, Sherrie Iverson Saratore (David) of Oakbrook, IL, Dominick Saratore (Rachel) of Buchanan and Nicole Saratore of St. Joseph; his grandchildren, Daniel Slivka (Brittany), Alexandra Austin (Brian), Isabella, Luca and Dominick Saratore; his great grandchildren, Hudson and Wyatt Austin; his sisters, Shirley Dreher, Sharon Crane and Pam Lignell; and also Emilia Slivka.

Memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan, Berrien County Cancer Services, and St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
