He was predeceased by: his parents, James Glen and Pauline Jesse (VanEvery); and his brother Jack Jesse. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Jesse; his children, Susan Foster (Brian), James "Jay" Jesse (Kathryn) and Sean Jesse; and his grandchildren, Faith, Lune, Lauren Foster, James and Josephine Jesse.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Swem Chapel (301 W Front St, Buchanan, MI 49107). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
